Hyplus Specifications
To best understand Hyplus specifications, first run HyperRez
or download HYPERREZ.ARC from my BBS system (415-540-6114).
HyperRez is a memory-resident runtime program that introduces
the concepts of hypertext. It includes essays on benefits, philosophy,
and background using a hypertext format. HYPLUS and HyperRez are:
Identical:
Key commands - UP, DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT
Scroll commands - Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, Plus, Minus
Types of ASCII jumps - File, screen, line, word
Beginning - START.TXT
Change base directory - CD path jump to new START.TXT
Backstep jumps - LEFT returns to previous base directories
Minor differences:
Horizontal scroll - Hyplus limited to 80 column display
File size - Hyplus has no size limits with ASCII files
Other - Different colors and exit commands
Major differences: - Hyplus -- many differences ... see <help.txt>
Advanced commands, graphics, glossary, etc.
